    Thank you Halesi Treks

    Rating: December 06, 2022

My wife and I did the Everest Base Camp trekking starting from Kathmandu on November 12 2022 and ending in Kathmandu on November 22 2022, the Halesi Treks team accompanied us during the trip. During the trekking from Lukla and back to Lukla, Man Kumar Tamang as the leader of Halesi Trek provided the information and support needed for this hike. As foreigners who do not know local information, information support and the Halesi Treks network allowed us to make the EBC trekking smoothly and safely. Information support from Halesi Treks relates to all aspects of trekking, for example the distance and time of trekking in one day, where to stay, food conditions and so on. Halesi Treks has an extensive network, especially related to aviation. On day four, one of our team members had pneumonia, requiring emergency evacuation and Halesi Treks was able to arrange for a helicopter to pick him up. Our friend was picked up in Dingboche and driven to Lukla so as to avoid further risks. Likewise, when we needed a helicopter pick-up from Lobuche to Lukla after ending the EBC climb, Halesi Treks was able to bring in a helicopter on time to take us to Lukla. In addition to technical information support, Halesi Treks also provides personalized support and simple, uplifting services. For example, when in Namche I had gastric problems due to an ulcer, the Halesi Treks team managed to find the right medicine so that the stomach ulcers could be treated. My wife and I are very grateful for the personal support from the Halesi Treks team. I can feel and tell you that the Halesi Treks team provided sincere and wholehearted service so that we could complete the EBC trek successfully, for that my wife and I would like to thank Halesi Treks, especially Man Kumar Tamang for all the support given so that we could make the trekking for 10 days safe and sound. Thank you Halesi Treks.

    The best journey

    Rating: December 03, 2022

Bucket list EBC trekking with my wife and a group of 8 great people we track almost 100 Km from Lukla to Everest Base Camp for 12 days. It was a journey of a lifetime. The majestic view of the Himalayas, the culture, the way the locals still use Yaks, Mules, and horses to transport goods, and the way it's been done for millennials. It was a strenuous journey that required us to be humble to nature, or it will beat us. Kumar and the team from Halesi treks made sure we were safe, well informed, and on the best route and accommodation. After a strenuous journey to the EBC, on the way home Kumar was able to pull a magical trick, and able to get us fly directly from Lukla to Kathmandu, which safe us a 5 hours bumpy road by bus!!! The team from Halesi Treks was phenomenal. They were essential to our safety and success to reach EBC with the best of memories. I would recommend them to anybody interested in makin this journey.. Thanks, Kumar, Santa, and the Team!!!

Unforgettable ABC trek with Halesi Treks

    Rating: October 24, 2022

Halesi Treks is a partner of the Indonesian tour agency Halo Nepal. During our trip to ABC, Mr. Kumar, the founder of Halesi Treks, and his team managed the 7-day trek really well, by ensuring all participants (8 of us) arrived at the destination safely with secured accommodations and meals. Mr. Kumar has also been very helpful in helping us to fly down by helicopter and fly back to Kathmandu by plane, although these changes were not part of the plan. Overall, we would recommend Halesi Treks for your traveling experience in Nepal. Risa and Ikong

    Amazing ABC trek

    Rating: November 24, 2019

Me and my friends did the ABC trek in early November. Niru (our guide) and Yam (our porter) are very friendly, professional, helpful, reliable and caring. During the trek, Niru always kept us motivated. I can say Niru is a highly experienced guide. He always checked our condition and listened to our needs. Niru and Yam did a very good job to make sure we reach ABC and come back safely. After completing the trek, Niru was still checking on us and making sure that we are okay. On my last day in Kathmandu, Niru and Man Kumar Tamang (the owner of Halesi Treks) personally invited me for a farewell dinner. I really feel like a family. I can’t thank Halesi Treks (Niru, Yam, Man Kumar) enough for making my second visit to Nepal so memorable. I will highly recommend Halesi Treks for their excellent service! Thank you and see you again!!

    Poon Hill Trek

We've just come back from a 4 days trek with Halesi treks. Man Kumar (the owner) was very kind to meet Us in Pokhara to have a beer together before the trek in order to give us some suggestions and information about the trek route. Our guide (Niru Rai) was very professional and attentive to our needs. We slept in comfortable tea houses, with wi-fi and hot shower. We ate good Nepalese food and even delicious pasta (a more than welcome surprise at 3000 mt). We felt safe during every second of the trek with Niru ( a guide used to climb up to 7000 mt peaks). We definitely recommend Halesi trek for a beautiful experience in Nepal. Namaste.
