Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can stroll around the city in the evening and stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we start our tour of the magical Kathmandu valley. There are many UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The Basantapur Durbar square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square are the culturally significant medieval durbar palaces in Kathmandu.

The unique architectural settlements of the Newar community in the durbar square premises are the highlight of the tour. The tasty dishes of the Newar community will satisfy your taste buds. We also have a chance to go on a religious tour of the famous temples of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath (monkey temple).

climb the Swayambhunath stupa on a hilltop and observe the gorgeous sunset overlooking the entire Kathmandu valley. We then drive back and prepare for the trek. We pack all the necessary equipment and get the permits needed for trekking. We stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

We fly to Lukla on an early morning flight from Kathmandu. The adventurous flight lands at Lukla Airport. We begin our trekking to Phakding as soon as possible.

The short trek to Phakding moves along the banks of the Dudh Kosi river and then arrive at the settlements of Ghat village. After a trek of 3-4 hours, we arrive at Phakding and stay overnight.

After breakfast, we start our trek to Monjo from Phakding. We cross a couple of suspension bridges overlooking the serene waterfall along the trail. The incredible views of Mt. Thamserku await us along the path.

We trek further to arrive at the settlement of Monjo. There is the checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo. You have to show your entry permits at the checkpoint. The Sagarmatha National Park is a UNESCO listed World Heritage site. We stay overnight at a teahouse in Monjo.

After breakfast, we start our trek to Namche Bazaar from Monjo. The trek moves along the hilly landscapes of the Khumbu valley to arrive at Jorsale, where we have our lunch. We continue our trek after lunch crossing a couple of wooden suspension bridges over the pristine Dudh Koshi river.

trekking for six hours, we reach the commercial town of Namche Bazaar. Namche is a touristy town in the Khumbu region, and there are many restaurants, hotels, cafes, pubs, and even a bakery. We overnight at a lodge or a tea house in Namche.

Namche bazaar is an excellent acclimatization point in the Everest. Acclimatization is essential in the high altitude region trek. We acclimatize at Namche by exploring around the area. You can either hike to Khunde and Syangboche airstrip.

You can also visit the Sherpa Museum dedicated to the achievements of the Sherpa community. There are also many places to relax in Namche. You can stay overnight at a lodge in Namche.

After breakfast, we start our trek to Khumjung via the Everest view hotel. The Everest view hotel is the highest placed hotel in the world. The view of the entire Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest, Mt Amadablam, Mt Lhotse, Mt Thamserku, Mount Kwangde, and others, will take your breath away.

We arrive at Khumjung after a short trek. Khumjung is a traditional Sherpa village where we can find climbers of Mount Everest Mountain Region. You can also explore the spiritual Khumjung monastery and the local communities to know more about the local culture and lifestyle. We stay overnight at a teahouse in Khumjung.

After breakfast, we return to Namche through the same route. The route may be the same, but the view perspective of the mountains is entirely different.
