Langtang lies about 130 km north of the Kathmandu valley, close to the border with Tibet and China. it is Nepal's first national park and lies between the Himalayan range to the north, dominated by Langtang Lirung ( 7,245 m), the highest peak in the area, and smaller peaks to the south -Chimse Danda ( ridge ), Ganja La pass [(5,122m), Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa (6989 m) Th trek here is more adventurous as the area is visited by fewer tourists. Apart from the spectacular scenery, a visit to the area is an opportunity to explore the lifestyle and culture of the Tamangs,whose craftsmanship, language, dress - of which there are more than 70 of varying sizes - and high altitude lakes. the forest in the region have temperate and sub- alpine vegetation. wildlife includes migratory birds, deer monkeys, tahr and pika. Apart from Lanagtang, treks can be arranged to the holy Gosaikunda Lake at 4,380 m, which covers much of the Langtang National Park, and helambu. Gosaikunda is said to have been created by Lord Shiva when he thrust His Trident into a mountain to draw water to cool his throat after swallowing poison.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu- Dhunche (1966m) 5/6 hrs.
Day 03: Dhunche - Singgompa - Chandan Bari (3330 m) 5hrs.
Day 04: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4330) 6 hrs.
Day 05: Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3440m) 8 hrs.
Day 06: Gopte to Tharepati (3640m) 4 hrs.
Day 07: Tharepati to Gul Bhanjyang (2140m) 6 hrs.
Day 08: Gul Bhanjyang to Chisapani (2134m) 5 hrs.
Day 09: Chisapani to Sundarijal (1300m), 4 hrs.
Day 10: Final departure day.
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport, welcome by Halesi Treks Pvt.Ltd and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After get refreshed, and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.
As soon as having a breakfast in the hotel, we take a jeep drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche Bazzar. drive ascend Dhunche check point. Your guide will arrange you for all entrance permits and their fees and you drive to Dhunche Bazzar. Dhunche Bzzar is located above 2800 meter above sea level offers several local shops, tea houses and tourist standard hotels. Dhunche is the starting point of our trek. It is beautiful village to have view of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh himal and Dhorje Lakpa and Langtang valley. Overnight at lodge.
Continue ascends to Sing Gompa. The view of mountain will be wider day by day. We will see Langtang range, Ganesh himal, Buddhist Monastery, once we reach at Sing Gompa. We walk through forest of oak, hemlock and firs. We also will visit local cheese factory there. overnight at lodge.
At the first part, you might trek through the forest until you reach to Cholang Pati. The trail from here over Lauri Binayak until Gosaikunda is normally not easy ascends. From the top of the Lauribinayak hill to Gosaikunda offer very good trails as it is wider as well as change in vegetation too as the green vegetation becomes much deserted & rocky. Overnight at lodge.
The trail leads to the northern side of Gosaikunda Lake, crosses a moraine, passing three more small lakes; you will reach Laurebina La (4610m). The trail descends to a National Park Post at Bhera Goth (4240m) and to Phedi (3740m). From Phedi the route drops and climbs through scrub bamboo to Dupichaur (3630m) and descends finally to Ghopte. overnight at lodge.
From Ghopte the trail makes several up and down across moraines, then makes a final ascent to Tharepati observing the fine scenery along the path. Afternoon, hike to the view point to explore the whole Helambu village as well as the famous boarder Himalayas including sisapangma (Above 8000 m) overnight at lodge.
From Tharepati the trail precedes passing through forests, to Magen Goth (3420m) and to Panghu. The trail descends through fir and rhododendron forest observing the view of beautiful and glittering peaks on its way to Khutumsang (2450m). Finally the trail descends to the delightful hill village of Gul Bhanjyang. Overnight at lodge.
Continues along the forested ridge climbing to Thodang Betini (2260m) and to Chipling (2170m). Making a very steep descent the trail heads to Pati Bhanjyang (1860m), a Brahman and Chhetri village. Then the trail proceeds to Chisapani where you can see the mountain views and the sunrise on the Himalaya. overnight at lodge.
Then drive back to Kathmandu From Chisapani the route goes forward through the forest of oak and rhododendron, and brings you to Borlang Bhanjyang (2440m). After a while you will get to the Army check post where your Shivapuri entrance permit is checked, then to Mulkharka (1800m) from where you will have a spectacular view of Kathmandu valley. Descending through the forest you will reach to Sundarijal.Then drive back to Kathamndu.
Drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your onwards destination flights.
