The trek itself is one of the best experiences I ever have had my entire life and a lot of credit for that goes to ManKumar and my guide Tek who organised the whole trip from the very beginning till the end. My guide Tek was down to earth and an amazing companion for the week. Highly recommended!

I would like this trip was an unforgettable moment for me. It was amazing journey with many memories along the way. Fun, laugh, meeting new friends, getting to know the local. Things that i never experience it before. Man kumar was our personal guide. We went a group of four with 2 porters.

I write to express my earnest appreciation and recommendation for the cordial and well organized services provided by Mr. Man Kumar Tamang and his crew, without their guidance and support, our EBC and Kala Pattar Trekking could not have been completed so satisfactorily and fruitfully. Man is extremely knowledgeable with the whole trekking operation and environment, including the alternative routings, lodgings, contacts and the ways to deal with sudden climate changes. As a matter of fact, our team of 9 members experienced heavy snow fall on our way to Dingboche(4350M) and we were forced to stayed there for 3 days, starting 14 Oct 13. The snow fall was so heavy, which had not been seen for more than 20 years in Octobers, overnight, it was waist-high. The result was that even some experienced trekkers decided to terminate their journey and descent. Yet, we were lucky that Man decided not to give up and sent pilots to explore the routing conditions once and again while we were still stranded, and eventually led us through to Lobuche and carried on our journey with appropriate modifications on our remaining itinerary.

Thanks to Man and his crew members, none of us experienced incidents, and, on the contrary, we were able to enjoy the frozen treks and Christmas-card like atmosphere. Have I said enough? Well, not quite. Besides the good foods, good lodgings we have enjoyed, I must not forget to mention that fast or slow trekking team-mates alike were well looked after by Man and his crew, ALL THE WAY! And, I believe this is very, very important! All in all, I am indeed deeply impressed with Man's enthusiasm and professionalism. He is always sincere and willing to help. If asked, I will definitely have no hesitation to recommend my friends to give their best considerations to Man's services. If he or she has doubt, I will ask him or her to read the other comments posted on this web site for reference as well.

During the period of EBC trek, We are thank for Man Kumar and his porter team to take care all of us to complete the trip as special as after big snow falling at 4350 m. We are very enjoyed the journey and remember all the details in my mind. Hope to see you again after three years. I was in a team of 3, led by Man Kumar to climb Langsisa-Ri in the Langtang Region.His organisational skills were exceptional. All the gear was carefully organised and nothing was left forgotten. From the airport welcome to the pre-trip gear prep and everythign else till the airport farewell was memorable. Our team of porters and cooks was managed well by Man Kumar and he had communicated all our plans right through the team very well. When things dont turn out the way you expect, Man Kumar was very flexible and modified our itinery well to suit all members. His grand knowledge of each region in Nepal make him an invaluable partner to trek with. The main knock out that gave the cream on top, was food. We found that our team's cook had prepared food to a standard well beyond any guest house we visited along the way in the langtang region. We eventually found we had a strong preference to our cook's food than guest house hotel food! Cakes were prepared for special occasions, meat was served daily unlike some other trekking companies and we were given special treats for desert daily. Truly spoiled for food and this really does lift moral on a difficult trip such as Langsisa Ri. Tea was plentiful from morning till night and we were even made sure hot water bottles were provided each night to keep us warm! Man Kumar invited me to his home to meet his family for dinner and this gives you an insight into nepalese daily life which one can not experience without knowing a local. I can highly recommend Man Kumar for your next Himalayan adventure.

I'm from Bangalore, India. Seeing Everest with my own eyes was always a dream which came true with wonderful support and guidance by Man Kumar Tamang who is one of my best friends now. Man Kumar's Planning, Organization, Skills were exceptional. Right from the Airport Pick up till Airport Drop, he never leaves you alone. Knowing Nepali Culture through him would be the best. He engages with us very well, of course, good English skills for seamless communication. You name it, he ll get it. He takes care of his clients very well. I suggest everyone who reads this post to give it a thought before you pick any other person for a trek in Nepal. I have heard a lot of Man Kumar which made me choose him for this EBC Trek which was successful. The contacts he has throughout the Khumbu Region is vast. For eg: we needed a porter right in the middle of a trek, he arranged it so quickly without much time wasted as it matters a lot for people like me. I had the chance to meet Man Kumar Tamang in October 2009. At that time he guided our Langtang - Gosainkunde trekking. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Not only because of the beauty of Nepal as a country, but also because of the excellent mountain guiding skills of Man Kumar. Driven by the positive experience we decided to come back to Nepal this year 2012 for a trekking in Upper Mustang. Again guided by Man Kumar Tamang and again it turned out to be an experience to cherish for life. Man Kumar not only guided our trip but also took care of the full organization - planning - booking - team selection. He is not only a reliable, highly experienced guide but also a very friendly and honest person. Even in stress situations he manages to stay focused and does whatever is in his power to come up with the best possible solution. If you consider traveling to Nepal I would highly recommend his services. You will be surprised by the warm & personal approach. Not only by Man Kumar himself but also by the selection of team members that might join you on your trip.

Just a few lines of comment on an incredible trekking in the Upper Mustang region in Nepal during 2 weeks in Oct 2012. The journey, led by our Tour leader Man Kumar Tamang, was a memorable experience. The scenery in this region is of the utmost beauty. This trek is exceptional in its kind because of the variety; You come across ancient Tibetan villages, Buddhist arts all in the surroundings of the beautiful Himalayan mountains. We were led by Man Kumar and his team, who are top professionals and have the expertise and experience to give every tourist a wonderful time in their amazing country!!
